I had to admit, that reading the back summary of this book was quite intriguing. This is the first and most favorite of all Susan Johnson that I’ve ever read. It has perfect hero, Adam Serre who was described as a woman magnet, more than a magnet, he was a walking sex, so ruggedly handsome with power and money covering his male appearance. Enter the heroin, Lady Flora Bonham, who’s experience in sex is a match to Adam. She was no un-experience virgin, on the contrary she was the typical well bred, too rich for her self kinda gal that brought the most primal feelings of Adam’s such as jelousy…. When he knew perfectly clear that sex is sex is sex, but with Flora, sex is not just sex.
What I love about this book was the wittiness and the smartness of how Susan Johnson describe the heroin. She was far from sweet and tender… least dumb. She was strong and so aware of her effect on her opposite sex.
The romance was hot, the sex was erotic, and the conversation was sexy. If you are the type of hot sex scene girl, that I’ll tell you, you will like this book as much as I do. You can see how our heroes were so imaginative when it comes to sex, and how they made it felt like today is the last day.
Susan Johnson was so good at describing the sex scene on this book, and yes…. They are a lot. I love it because she made it well paced… not too slow and not too fast. From page to page we will see how love blossomed from our heroes heart….
Last but not least… bravo to Susan Johnson for writing this book, to me… it was a five star…
